- Vice Ganda promised that he will continue making people laugh as long as he can
- He was overwhelmed by the love and support he felt during his sold-out US tour
- He earlier admitted that he suffered from depression
Vice Ganda was back feeling happy and energized on noontime show, ‘It’s Showtime.’ The comedian was overwhelmed with his sold out ‘Pusuan Mo Si Vice Ganda US Tour‘ that he took the chance to make a promise to his supporters.
Vice revealed that during his tour, he felt the impact he made on people and realized that he wants to continue making people laugh as long as he can. He was quoted by ABS-CBN saying on ‘It’s Showtime,’ “My purpose is to make people laugh. Ang mga matatanda, makakalimutan nilang may sakit sila. Para ‘yung mga nanay at tatay na gusto nating makasama ay humaba pa ang buhay. Para ‘yung mga millennials na nadi-depress ma-realize nilang masaya pa pala ang buhay.”
[For the old people may forget they are sick. So that our parents will live a longer life. So the depressed millennial will realize that it’s happy to be alive.]
He added, “I found my purpose and now I vow that I will not quit. I will continue to make everyone happy. Because for as long as you are happy, I am happy. I am serving you and I’m serving God. I love my life.”
Vice earlier revealed that he went through depression and had to seek professional help.
