Childhood. We’ve all been there, our imagination knew no limits and sometimes, the adults say we create or see things in our minds beyond what they can.
Natalie Morales, an American actress shared on Twitter a photo taken from Oh Comely magazine which features kids’ drawing of their “make-believe friends”.
In the shared photo is a three-year-old girl, Ruby, holding a drawing of her “imaginary mum” whom she called “Grateful.”
Ruby’s description of Grateful goes: “a pregnant 14-year-old girl who can’t have birthdays” and it had everyone on Twitter thinking that she might either be haunted by a “straight up terrifying” ghost or the little girl just has an extreme imagination.
The child gave more details about Grateful, and it will absolutely give scaredy people nightmares: “Her yellow eyelashes mean she can see in the dark — she only comes to see me at night-time. It scares me sometimes, but I always want her to come back. She has two babies in her belly. She’s 14, but can never have a birthday.”
Morales said on her tweet that Ruby has a ghost with her and said that she should’ve captioned the photo more appropriately:
Like the actress, many netizens were frightened at Ruby’s imaginary mum. Here’s a few of their comments:
One netizen tried to reimagine what Ruby and Grateful would look like in real life and it looked like a great idea for a Hollywood movie. Here’s a tweet by REDLINE COMICS @HEROESCON AA-44:
