Marvel reportedly have a new film in the works in the shape of a Muslim superhero Ms Marvel.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently dropped hints that the Marvel Cinematic Universe could introduce a Muslim superhero in the future.
During an interview with BBC, Feige said that plans are “in the works” to introduce Pakistani American superhero Ms. Marvel after Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel makes her debut.
Yes, Miss Marvel is a teenage American Muslim girl of Pakistani descent named Kamala Khan who is inspired to become a hero by Captain Marvel.
“We’re doing ‘Captain Marvel’ right now, ‘Captain Marvel’ is shooting right now with Brie Larson,” Feige said.
“Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books – the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel – is definitely sort of in the works. We have plans for that once we introduce Captain Marvel to the world.”
However, who will play the revolutionary character is yet to be confirmed but this is an exciting news to all Marvel fans.
