- Don Gorske gobbled down his 30,000th Big Mac since 1972
- Gorske first set the Guinness World Record for eating 28,788 Big Macs in 2016
A man from Wisconsin has eaten 30,000 McDonald’s Big Macs since 1972.
Don Gorske, 64, has eaten at least one Big Mac almost every day since May 17, 1972.
“If I go for 40,000, that’ll take me another 14 years or whatever like that. I don’t think people celebrate 35,000 at all, so we’re probably looking at 14 more years down the road, and I’ll be 78 years old then! So we’ll have to see how I’m doing then, you know?” he said via WBAY.
Gorske first set the Guinness World Record for eating 28,788 Big Macs in 2016. He had said then that he typically bought his Big Mac burgers in bulk each week (over a dozen of them!) and microwaved them at home.
“I love the patties, I love the sauce, I can’t get enough of it.”
“I’m healthy as a horse. I weigh 190 pounds, and my cholesterol is 165,” Gorske insisted despite his fast-food laden diet. “I’m better than normal.”
According to McDonald’s own nutrition calculator, one Big Mac burger contains 540 calories.
