Former President and Manila Mayor Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada announced on Monday that he will seek a reelection in the 2019 polls.

Erap made the statement when he went to Altura, Sta. Mesa to cast his vote for the May 14 barangay elections.

If Erap wins in 2019, he will be serving his third term as Mayor.

However, Estrada reportedly welcomes the plan of former Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim to run for mayor.

The former President also confirmed that his sons, former senator Jinggoy Estrada and Senator Joseph Victor ‘JV’ Ejercito, will both run for the Senate in the 2019 polls.

“I wish them the best, I hope they both win,” Erap said in an interview.

Erap arrived at the Padre Burgos Elementary School past 10 a.m. and was accompanied by his daughter Jerika.
