Anne Curtis defended her husband Erwan Huessaff in the midst of the controversy involving the Department of Tourism’s food project, ‘Buhay Carinderia.’
Huessaff, a popular food blogger, was tapped to be a content creator for ‘Buhay Carinderia.‘ The project was suspended by Tourism Chief Bernadette Romulo-Puyat allegedly due to lack of proper bidding and several other issues.
Curtis vouched for her husband’s integrity and was quoted by Pep saying, “I know where Erwan’s heart is talaga when it comes to that: it’s always about pushing Filipino food.”
“Iyon lang naman ang gusto niya, ma-highlight ang pagkain ng mga Pilipino, so I support him with that,” she added. [That’s all he wanted, to highlight Filipino food and I support him with that.]
Amidst the controversy dragging Huessaff’s name in it, the actress-host shared words of wisdom for her husband and even sister, actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith. She said, “Being someone kasi who is not a stranger to her own controversies, I always tell them… I told this to my sister, I told this to Erwan, na parang this too shall pass.”
“Basta you know where your heart is, you don’t have to worry about it,” Curtis said.
