After sharing a photo from actress Isabelle Daza’s wedding last September 10, many social media users were left wondering why former senator and vice presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos was the one who walked the bride down the aisle.
In the comment section of his Facebook post, Marcos answered the question.
“In place of my good friend the late Bong Daza, the bride asked me to walk her down the aisle,” he said.
On the evening of September 10, Marcos shared the photo of him as he walked Daza down the aisle during her wedding with Adrien Semblat in Italy.
“What a happy day! All of us who love you have our hearts full of joy for you and Adrien on this happiest of days. I feel the warmth of your father Bong’s smile on us as we wish you all the love, happiness and success as you embark on your new life together as husband and wife. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Daza-Semblat #LoveFOREVER,” he captioned the photo.
Many Facebook users were touched by the photo saying Daza is very lucky to have Marcos as her godfather.
