- Pampanga provincial police director said they don’t have a ‘Dianna Lagman’ in their watchlist
- Dianna Lagman was one of the several names the president mentioned in his new drug list
- Duterte also named several Chinese nationals in list
MANILA, Philippines – Days after President Rodrigo Duterte heralded his newest drug list, Pampanga provincial director Sr. Supt. Rodolfo Recomono said that one of the personalities he mentioned was not operating in their area.
“She’s not in our area of operation,” the Philippine Daily Inquirer quoted him as saying, in reference to a certain ‘Dianna Lagman’ whom Duterte mentioned as hailing from Pampanga.
Aside from Lagman, the president also mentioned the names of several Chinese nationals allegedly pushing drugs in the country.
The names identified belonged to a certain ‘Fu Ju Ju’, ‘Kan Fu Chong’, ‘Fu Chan Jiang’, ‘Wang Jang Din’, ‘Wang Jan Pin’, and ‘Jiang Shin Zhu’.
Duterte earlier released copies of the list to members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
I will give a copy of the list to the Armed Forces and the police. It will be up to you to deal with it,” he said. “Solve this problem because it will destroy the country.”
The president also explained why he asked for an extension of his ongoing campaign against drugs.
“My problem is when I was promising to the people, when I was campaigning for the presidency, I said, ‘Our first problem is drugs.’ I thought that it will not get worse. But when I became president and asked everyone to work and give me the result of their job, I realized now to my horror that it’s worst,” he said.
The president’s first list contained the names of 160 incumbent and former public officials — including mayors, judges, local executives and uniformed personnel.
