MANILA, Philippines – Families and friends are crying for justice over the cold-blooded shooting in broad daylight of a couple in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

The gruesome killing has been captured on CCTV and is making the rounds on social media in an attempt to bring the killer to justice. The clip was also shared on the “Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa” Facebook page.

The victims were identified as Dave Abello and his pregnant partner, Angel; while the suspect was identified as Allan Cantreras Averilla (or Avilla) alias “Long Hair”.

According to a post by one Kylie Albuera, the victims had a rift with the suspect over a stolen motorcycle in their village in Barangay Minuyan, SJDM.

The suspect was allegedly irked after someone informed him that Abello was the one who spread the rumor that he stole the Mio motorcycle.

“Long Hair” supposedly went to Abello’s house in Tialo, Minuyan armed with a caliber .45. Averilla also assaulted Abello and Angel and threatened to kill the couple if they did not clear his name within 3 hours.

The incident prompted the victims to leave their residence and transfer to another house in Towerville.

They also filed a complaint at the barangay against the suspect and demanded P30,000 for the damages. However, Averilla said he could not pay the amount and offered only P5,000 to settle the issue but Abello allegedly refused.

It was on their third hearing that the shooting happened, the sharer narrated.

In the CCTV footage, the victims can be seen on their way out of the barangay hall while the suspect followed them closely behind.

Without warning, the suspect pulled his gun and shoot Abello (whose back was turned against him), in the head before shooting the woman.

The remorseless killer even went back to retrieve his motorcycle parked just beside the dead couple’s bodies before driving off.

The Facebook page “Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa” said the suspect is now being hunted and is asking anyone for any information that would lead to the suspect’s arrest.
