MANILA, Philippines – The mayor of San Jose Del Monte (SJDM) has reportedly offered P50,000 reward in exchange for any information that would lead to the capture of Allan Cantreras, the main suspect in the cold-blooded murder of a couple in one of the city’s barangay.
While it cannot be immediately verified, the Facebook page “PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa” said in its update on Monday, August 8 that SJDM Mayor Arthur Robes has reportedly put up a P50,000 bounty for the capture of Cantreras (aka “Long Hair”).
“Magbibigay na ng pabuyang 50k si Mayor Arthur Robes sa sinumang makakapagbigay ng impormasyon sa kinaroroonan nitong suspek na si Allan Cantreras Averilla,” the post read.

Earlier, Police Senior Inspector Joel Alba of the SJDM police said a manhunt operation is underway to capture Cantreras who is believed to be hiding in the south.
Police considered the alleged killer as “armed and dangerous”.
Cantreras has been identified as the man in the viral video who shot victims Dave Abello and his 7-month pregnant live-in partner Jessie “Angel” Tolero point-blank and in broad daylight as the three were going out of a barangay hall in Minuyan on Friday afternoon.
The victims reportedly had a rift with the suspect over a stolen motorcycle in their village. Suspect Cantreras was allegedly irked after someone informed him that Abello was the one who spread the rumor that he stole the Mio motorcycle.
The suspected killer is said to have physically assaulted the couple and threatened to kill them if they failed to clear his name from the allegation.
After a failed negotiation on their third hearing at the barangay, Cantreras shot and killed the couple and hasn’t been heard since.
The suspect’s wife also told the police her husband has not returned home to their house in Norzagaray for more than a week.
