- Creepy looking Pokemons are a feature of a Chinese-developed gaming app
- The app is a practice game to harness the skills in Pokemon catching
- It was launched in July but has been updated and now uses cute animals for the game
Pokemon Go is probably the biggest mobile gaming app to hit the world since Angry Birds, Candy Crush and Flappy Bird. It’s so popular that there’s actually another gaming app developed in China inspired by it.
Chinese developer Rejected Games: FPS Adventure & Sport Simulation Adventure launched in July the app called “Ball Practice for Pokemon Go”.
It’s a practice game for players to harness their skills in throwing the pokeball to catch ‘em all. But what’s interesting about it is it used simulations of the original Pokemon characters in a very disturbing way.
The tech web blog The Next Web even described the app as: “knockoff Pokemon Go app is the stuff of Satan’s nightmares.” It might have been a little exaggerated but it’s up to you to decide for yourself how their versions of the cute and cuddly Pokemons look.
Here are some of the screenshots of the most loved Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander and Snorlax.
But if you want to try the application yourself, it might be too late. The game has been updated since, and now, it just uses cute animals for you to practice your pokeball throwing and catching skills.
