SANTORINI, Greece – Model Xenia Deli, who is best known as the girl who stars with Justin Bieber in the music video for the song “What Do You Mean?” married a millionaire in a grand ceremony on the island of Santorini in Greece.
An article by Lauren Ingram and Bianca London for Mail Online published on June 24 said that the 26-year-old model married 62-year-old Ossama Fathi Rabah Al-Sharif on June 4 in an over-the-top wedding ceremony which is rumored to have cost more than one million euros ($1.1 million).
Deli and Al-Sharif, an Egyptian businessman, apparently started dating in late 2015 before deciding to tie the knot in the village of Pyrgos at a luxury winery and wedding venue Santo Wines.
Photos of the wedding emerged online; showing the 150 guests seated in the open air. Deli was seen wearing “a couture full-length gown” designed by Zuhair Murad, and features “a sheer bodice and long sleeves embellished with lace” and a “full skirt with more delicate lace and ruffles.”
Meanwhile, the groom wore a blue three-piece suit, white shirt and softer blue tie.
Kathleen Harper mentioned in her article for Hollywood Life that the wedding reception composed of tables bathed in soft purple light and with centerpieces of gorgeous fresh flowers.
The cake, which is not less grand, stands at least a meter tall and consists of five layers and covered in tiny white meringues.
Reports said that the couple enjoyed a short honeymoon in Santorini, then flew off to Switzerland in order to meet the bride’s parents.
After reaching Geneva, Deli was seen spending time with her cousin Kerry Deli, then the couple continued their honeymoon in Paris and Lisbon.
Meanwhile, Deli hit out on social media at critics over the relationship the day after the wedding.
“‘Who you are to judge the life I live? I’m not perfect and I don’t have to be! Before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean’ Bob Marley,” Deli said on her Instagram account.
